Open CareerBoard Settings and pick ChatGPT

AI assistant
Use the manual connector setup in CareerBoard Settings to bring your live job-search workspace into ChatGPT. The guide is already there, it includes screenshots, and the payoff is much better context continuity.
Overview
CareerBoard is not listed in connector stores yet. The right story today is simple manual setup with a clear guide inside Settings.
What changes
ChatGPT starts from the real CareerBoard workspace instead of a blank thread.
Projects, applications, role context, documents, prep, and review history stay connected.
The assistant can keep working after the first output because the context lives in the workspace, not only in chat.
Why setup feels easy
The ChatGPT guide is already available inside CareerBoard Settings.
Users get screenshots, ready-to-copy values, and a guided manual flow.
The setup is straightforward even before any marketplace listing exists.
Best when
The user already relies on ChatGPT as the day-to-day assistant for the search.
Role evaluation, tailoring, prep, and review should stay grounded in one system.
The goal is better workflow continuity, not another one-off prompt session.
Setup
Everything starts from CareerBoard Settings. Pick ChatGPT, follow the illustrated steps, paste the provided values into your client, and authorize once.
Manual for now. Fast in practice.
The Settings screen includes a convenient provider-specific instruction flow with screenshots, so users do not have to guess where each field belongs.
Start from the Connectors tab in CareerBoard and open the screenshot-based ChatGPT guide.
Follow the Settings guide to open ChatGPT's advanced connector flow and create the connector app.
CareerBoard shows the exact values ChatGPT needs, so the middle of the setup is mostly copy and paste.
Connect once, approve access, and ask ChatGPT to list your projects or summarize your board.
Prompts
The first tests can stay simple. The main win is that the assistant now works from your real workspace instead of a blank conversation.
Show my CareerBoard projects.
Summarize my main application board and tell me what needs attention first.
Evaluate whether this vacancy is worth pursuing for my current project.
Generate a tailored resume for this board item.
Create a cover letter for this application and keep it connected to the role.
Prepare me for my next interview based on the resume I already sent.
Value
The setup is manual, but the payoff is a much better operating layer for the active search.
The model can summarize active roles, stalled applications, and next actions from the workspace instead of from a pasted list.
Resumes, cover letters, prep notes, and reviews stay linked to the application instead of drifting across separate chats.
Vacancy evaluation, tailoring, and interview work can start from the same stored candidate and project context every time.
The assistant becomes more useful when it can act on the live search system instead of responding to one isolated prompt.

Notes
A few notes for using CareerBoard as the workspace behind ChatGPT.
Good to know
CareerBoard is not in the ChatGPT connector store yet, so setup currently happens through the manual guide in Settings.
The Settings flow includes screenshots plus the MCP URL and OAuth values needed for the connector form.
The strongest ChatGPT use cases are application tracking, vacancy evaluation, tailoring, interview prep, and review.
Privacy
CareerBoard only exposes data available to the connected account, and the setup guide is shown inside the product settings where users also manage access.
