Setup

Open Settings and follow the screenshot guide

Everything starts from CareerBoard Settings. Pick ChatGPT, follow the illustrated steps, paste the provided values into your client, and authorize once.

Manual for now. Fast in practice.

The Settings screen includes a convenient provider-specific instruction flow with screenshots, so users do not have to guess where each field belongs.

Start from the Connectors tab in CareerBoard and open the screenshot-based ChatGPT guide.

Create the connector in ChatGPT

Follow the Settings guide to open ChatGPT's advanced connector flow and create the connector app.

Paste the provided MCP and OAuth details

CareerBoard shows the exact values ChatGPT needs, so the middle of the setup is mostly copy and paste.

Authorize and send a quick test

A few notes for using CareerBoard as the workspace behind ChatGPT.

Good to know

CareerBoard is not in the ChatGPT connector store yet, so setup currently happens through the manual guide in Settings.

The Settings flow includes screenshots plus the MCP URL and OAuth values needed for the connector form.

The strongest ChatGPT use cases are application tracking, vacancy evaluation, tailoring, interview prep, and review.
